Stephanie Klingele (Staten Island, NY/St. John Villa) led a balanced Setter scoring attack, totaling 12 of her team-high 16 points in the final period as Pace won their third straight game and four of their last five as they picked up the 70-59 win over the Purple Knights of Saint Michael’s College in Northeast-10 Conference action. The Setters improve to 9-15 overall and 8-11 in the NE-10, while the Purple Knights drop to 13-11 and 9-10 in conference play on the season. The Setters, in conjunction with the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association and co-sponsored locally by Thornwood’s Finnegan’s Grill, raised $1,000 on the day towards breast cancer research.
